PS only, a couple textures used from stock sites, ~3 hrs.Comments always appriciated, I want to make this one better, so critique would be very helpful.

Don't know if this is science fiction... do believe the current theory on the origin of our moon - happened like this, when the earth was struck by another planet. Impressive concept in any case.

Great work. If you're really looking for suggestions though, I would suggest changing the background stars a little. Both the large and small stars follow the same pattern. I would suggest randomizing it more. Maybe getting rid of small stars in places where there are large ones, and vice versa. Other than that, it looks fantastic.

Everything is great, I just don't like the feel of the planet. I don't know but to me if 2 planets of those types of atmospheres and land layout collided, In my own opinion the effect would be different. Not bad though, Its art and its your piece, I suggest not changing a thing. I just don't like the texture on the planets, they seem a bit pixelated. Good job though

Amazing work, but i completely understand about the top left corner. The stars seem to be up front infront of all the dust and debris from the planet, none of the stuff is blocking the light from the stars it seems almost like they are 2D instead of being 3D like the rest of the image. Great work tho

Well in my eyes it looks a little cluttered, that could just be my personal view. I would try to just make it more of a clear space, maybe remove some of the white specs.

I love this. I think pulling back is a good idea as well, but not too much. The only thing I'd say is that the space off to the top-left looks a bit grainy, but perhaps that's because of atmospheric stuff coming off the planet, or something. So, very good!

im not sure what you mean by grainy - are the stars grainy? or something else?
& same response for pulling it back - basically would have to redo the whole thing.

I think pulling the image back a bit would look better. that way we can see the two moons as whole. The explosion looks very nice, almost like an electrical explosion. I'm not sure about this one but; maybe making the top moon into a meteor with a fire tail would add a little variety to colors.
