I've been remiss in getting pictures up of my completed (Or nearly so) Gundam models. So her is my HG Astray Red Frame. This was a fun build but it took far to long to paint the sword and I still have to foil the blade. This was actually one of my earlier builds. I neglected the stickers on this model and hand painted the eyes and detail work.Feedback appreciated.

Sweet! I just bought myself Gundam Red Astray as well! Although I should've bought the flight pack unit... Still thinking about just customizing from the one I have and then just make a traditional Red Astray With Flight Pack unit to it's best.

I really grew to love this design while I built it. At first I was unsure of how I felt about the flight pack but once assembled it really does complement it well.
Also what grade do you have? This one is the HG but I recently picked up the RG. Need to make it yet.

It looks awesome with it's flight pack X3 I worried too when I tohught about getting it, because the Wing Pack remidned me a lot of the Strike Gundam's Wing pack. And I got a little tired of those combinations and wanted something differentm but I REALLY like it now that I can see how much better it is from the Original... And I don't wanna get the Hyabusa looking Red Astray from Build Fighters XD Would be cool I guess but.. For a master grade or something.
But mine is a High Grade. I haven't managed to get myself any Real Grades yet... I've always wanted to do one x3 preferrably Rx-78-2 and then customize it or something... I dunno.

I have the RG wing zero and I was impressed with it so I looking forward to the RG astry and seeing how it differs. Looked in the box and the quality of the sword alone is awesome.
