See, Harriet's trick may have backfired... in the worst way possible... but the fact that she managed to do what she did is actually pretty amazing, in my opinion.
However, I doubt either of them see it that way right now.
And 'now both of them wish to be dead'? Yep, that is EXACTLY what their expressions say. Nancy has this look of "I'm so embarrassed, I want to die!" while Harriet has that "............just.... just take me now..." look.
Bird has a new perch, though. So that's nice.

(sorry for taking forever to reply, work stuff as usual)
ok, trying to avoid spoilers, it went something like this:
On a different country Thalbina was traveling and the night fell. She spotted an abandoned town and decided to take shelter for the night in that place. As the clock hit the midnight, she started hearing noises all over the place and to her surprise, the town was filled with zombies. She ran from them until she was able to hide inside a windmill. There she heard a faint voice, and when she followed it found Alabaster, whose right arm, leg and part of the head were crushed under a plank and was surrounded by dry flowers. At first Thalbina was a bit wary of her, but soon found out that she was able to speak and reason, unlike all the others. She asked her a lot of questions, but she doesn't seem to remember many things except that she has been in that place from as long as she can remember; Thalbina found an old newspaper with a date from over 10 years, which she assumes is the time when the town was converted into zombies.
The next morning all the other zombies disappeared so Thalbina who was now free to leave, so she decided to take Alabaster with her, and fix her damaged parts with a friend of her that is a Necromancer.
Currently, she lives in Lutia's castle along the other characters. She is very quiet and calm, often displaying a very clever mouth to point out obvious details that others missed. She is super sweet, and likes pretty much everyone, specially Thalbina, who treats her as her daughter/beloved pet, and Lutia that fills the role of a grandma for her.
