Haha, oh my, I'd have to chat with the others on the brushes used, but I know that I personally use a massive mix of SAI brushes to get similar textures...usually just by winging it. xD

Lol thanks xD Do you generally use SAI or PS? I just really like the style of coloring, and I've tried mimicking it before, I just can't figure it out. o__o

I personally prefer SAI. Everyone else uses PS. I think it really depends on what you want to do. In my experience, SAI beats out other programs when it comes to getting a super clean color and lines. However, SAI also has a fair, fair share of annoyances that PS doesn't have.
But, I'm also new-ish to them in general, so don't quote me. xD
