Yes. Stargate: SG1 and later the spin-off Stargate: Atlantis are scifi shows running from the early 1990s through about 2007 or 2008 and from 2006 or so to now (I think), respectively. The human race of Earth (i.e., the Tauri) meets up with a galaxy of parasites, greys, and evil crusading energy beings, among others. A fleet of ships with a similar design to above constitute the secret intergalactic force against rogue groups and enemy "nations" and races.
