Edit: Finished. For now... shaded some more around the frog.... added a border. I'll be working on this some other time, probably a while from now.I'm having a terrible time getting it to look like the frog is actually crawling on her face. Any suggestions?

I'm still trying to get the hang of this kind of thing. I usually just play around with lighting on each picture, and try to match them up

I've just started photo manip not too long ago myself. It's fun though! I understand what you're saying about the lighting. I've updated the pic since you commented. It looks better... but still not right. I'll be messing with it every now and then.

yeah... it's not finished though. the frog doesn't look right. i need to do something with the lighting... i don't know what though. Any suggestions?

I think more shadows to the side near the hair might make it a little more realistic. Just have a play with it, see what looks best but hey, it looks good to me anyway.

I've seen similar works like that before, but I never had the chance to get an idea of how it's done
And the frog, well, indeed the shadowing and lighting does not get along with the rest of the composition, try makeing it a bit darker and brush the girl's skin a little next to the frog's legs to get the idea of the frog climbing over her skin, maybe liquify it just a bit down or something.
