Yeah, the truth is; I started this one as a portrait study. Only later I decided to make a bigger scene. So it seriously lacks early planning.
No other excuses.
But at least I like the background too.

As I said before, really really sorry for the late replies.
This one was supposed to be a quick portrait study. But some drawings have their own personality and they know exactly how they want to look like. This one was one of those. It was very natural to me to finish, and a pleasant surprise at the end. Although some more early planning would make it look a lot better.

Probably thats why its not very good there. Lack of planning.

But If I'd do that it would show that I didn't work very well on those areas. They aren't finished, capiche? hehe
I would have to get back to the figure and make the proper correction.

Great book of amber is on my wishlist already.
I'll buy soon along with the next gunslinger book.An awesome series by Stephen King.
