Description The firearm discussion bulletin boards I frequent were 'sploited once, and I dedicated the original photo (that this is based off of) to that script kiddie.

This is my attempt at, I don't know what. No idea what this kind of work is called. But, it took me a while, even though it's simple.

The shirt and the iris and retina were all that were left intact.

Take note, the gun IS loaded. Part of the thing I was going for was actually being able to see the chambered hollowpoint glaring back at you. The camera was on a timer and my finger was indexed along the side of the firearm. If I HAD fired, the worst that would have happened would be a hole through my house down into the basement. Not that that would be GOOD, but hey.

As dangerous as it is taking the picture with the gun loaded, the end result is more dynamic than if it were empty.

Obviously, in THIS version, it wouldn't have mattered as I could have just painted it in. But the original photo kind of required that I ignore one rule. I didn't want to destroy my camera, but here I am, pointing a gun at it...

I have one in which I'm holding a revolver (Taurus 627 Tracker: 7-shot, .357 Magnum, 4" ported barrel, matte stainless finish). It was easy to see it was empty so I painted an eyeball into the first chamber. It was MS Paint, so it's not like it's a photorealistic eyeball. The title is 'Exploding Eyeball Round'. It was supposed to be somewhat surreal, the idea of a bullet that had an eye.

The only thing that would've ben better is if your eye and the sights were aligned, but you'd have had to be lined up with the camera just perfect, and it wouldn't have gotten a good shot down the bore.

But still, it's pretty damn good.

I seem to remember actually being able to see the camera through the sites... But like you said, it may not have been possible to line up everything.
