I saw them in dreams
I saw them emerge from the fog

They hunger for fear and sadness
They hunger for flesh and blood

I watched them stalk their prey
I watched them devour the bodies

They ate the screams and tears
They ate the muscle and bones

I can only watch them feast
I can only feel pity for the dead

They cannot be filled
They cannot feel remorse

I must not let them see me
I must not fear them

They seek more victims...

I grow hungry...
