I realise that this is in fact not much more than a different angle on the existing scene but one of our racers asked for it and it turned out quite nice I think. And that is why it's in here with the rest of the GPRT ADVAN series.Related content

its very well textured and it looks great; but i do miss some contrast in you lights and shadows, maybe tune the light setup a litlle bit? anyhue just here to help make it even better

Thanks for the comments, I appreciate you taking the time. In honesty I haven't been doing much skinning work on these models and have not got the 3D knowledge to alter the things you describe. I just painted the car, hit 'render' and waited for what came out.

its from the designers of a certain 'mental ray material'
mental ray is a render engine like brazil but for free although it has lots of potential (most of the movie 'the matrix' has been done with mental ray so thumbs up to them)
the material is called 'mr Arch & Design' and can be found in your material slot (press 'm') if you have activated mental ray as your renderer (wich u can do for you have already changed it to become brazil once

Thanks m8. But in all honesty, all I did was paint the skin for this car to use it for our team. The actual model was exported from the game by someone else and made into a 3DMax scene.

The hood is exceptional. The toning, reflection, and texture are perfect. The windscreen and roof just don't have the same feel though.
