Description
Commission 1/3 forΒ femalefred ΒThe reticulated giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis reticulata) is one of the most common subspecies seen in zoos. Although they hybridize well with the eight other giraffe subspecies, zookeepers try to avoid this for conservation reasons. "As of last summer, there's only four species of giraffe, they've been reclassified!" - TigerTang
Media: Winsor & Newton watercolours, Art Spectrum white gouache, Polychromos pencils, Fabriano 300gsm hot press watercolour paper.

What's this? Another comment complimenting the color and insane level of detail? Nonetheless it must be said as all of the comments are the bare minimum deserved here.

Thank you so much!
I've been told that giraffes are very soft and silky to touch, at least on the face, like a horse.
