Started as a speedpainting but i ended up adding some extra details though i kept some raw strokes to give it some more visual variety. Hope you like it.Related content

Impressive and nothing short of assume. I think I like the way you got the sunlight to highlight the scene most of all. And this is WAY cooler than the stereo-type heroic human knight dressed in the fancy armor with a sword, (a character type that gets way too overused). Got to love orcs, especially with spears, a good weapon choice.

Even more than the Conan-esque look of the Orc and his relaxed pose upon the horse, I like the colors. The overall feel of this piece invokes a certain nostalgia in me for the Sherwood scenes of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and a strange sort of calm following a bloody victory. And that is why I put it in my favorites.

So good to be back on your gallery (was occupied a lot by work arf ><'), even more when you propose such an amazing warrior !
I was thinking your orc does match the original description of Conan (from Robert E. Howard) : a calm, silent but dangerous killer, bearing composite pieces of steel on his strong-builded body, & riding a fine black horse.
What i really admire on this deviation is the stunning void area you created around the rider : colors & lights clearly make him the center of the scene, and you found the perfect balance between him, the watered ground and the woods.
And this the red at the back ! Seems to be born from the light above
In the end, It's just like your rider was "coming at me", exiting from the world of paint to come into ours !

Thats not a bad thing, I only mean that you maybe should put that into your info about the pic
