In Memory of Minnie MengYou were only 20 years old...
It was the 27th of June 2009...
I didn't know until 2 months and 17 days later
That you took your last breath in this world...
The last I heard from you,
You just told me of your condition and how you were recovering.
How you lost bits and pieces of your memories...
How it wasn't a drama but REAL...
And how you said you couldn't ever forget me and your friends...
How everything was slowly coming back...
How everything would eventually be ok.
That was almost a year ago...
Almost a year since I haven't heard from you..
And even longer since I last saw you..
Do you remember how you helped my hunger?
You helped me from passing out and fed me.
Even teasing about your bf we had fun.
You rooted for me and supported me.
But... I wasn't there in your time of need...
I wasn't there to keep you from passing away.
I couldn't be there for you.. I couldn't do ANYTHING.
I'm sorry I didnt give you that dance that I owed you...
...That I STILL owe you..
The dance that I PROMISED to you...
I wanted to make more happy memories with you...
For you to feed me again...
For you to RAWR at me...
For you to cheer me on...
For me to help make you smile...
For me to help make you laugh...
For us to spend more time with all our friends...
I'm so sorry we didnt get to hang out as often as we could have...
You were... you ARE one of my first friends I met in Vancouver...
"Minnie is a Meanie" was your alias...
But you were quite the opposite of that!
We clicked and became great friends...
Even though rarely seeing each other.. YOU had that great power with everyone.
Sigh...
You SAID you were getting better!
I BELIEVED YOU!
I CARED about you..
I LOVED you...
I wanted you to get better and happier...
I wanted to see you smile again...
And I believe.. you are now in a better and happier place...
And I still believe in you...
I still care about you...
I still love you.
Please forgive me for not spending more time with you...
Please forgive me for not fulfilling my promises...
Please... wait for me with that happy smile
Please ...wait for me with that RAWR of yours...
Please... wait for me and I'll take you on that promised dance.
