Flat colors, yo.My line art sucks.
Just a few doodles for a monster boss design. I wanted to do a bipedal insect without ripping off District 9 (I had a similar 4-armed bug monster idea before even seeing the movie). I think I pulled it off.
That mask-type thing is supposed to be mandibles covering the mouth, but I fail at drawing depth.
