The piece is overall very well constructed. The colours are beautifully selected and contrast each other well. It's overall a good piece. However, for me, the focus is a little confusing for my eyes. It's not clear as the two men are equally blurred but are not on the same line (if that makes sense) I think you could have balanced it out more on the other subjects in the drawing. Other than that I think the vision is superb and it made me want to write a historical novel. It's still a beautiful piece and any critique I have it definitely doesn't take away from the feel and aesthetics in the drawing.
Good job! I hope to one day be able to do sceneries as well as you do.

This piece is all in all well constructed. The colours, visible elements, canvas crop style and the placement of the main elements work together bringing the scenery to life and directing one's attention to different things in the right order. The sky is lifelike but not too complicated, which makes it possible to enjoy the vast amount of details.
Despite of the main elements having been placed smart, the smaller details have some placement issues. The horse's head is placed unfortunately to the lamp post, same is with the man in the front left and the mast of the ship. The lamp post on the right seems to be making room for the crane in the background. This kind of overlaps do happen and everything would seem unrealistic without them but there needs to be a carefully curated balance which is just a tad off in this piece in my opinion.
The fact that this piece makes you take the view of one of the people walking by helps to sell the idea of a real scenery and makes you build small stories in your head about what you see, hear and smell.

Very nice picture,
but the Tower Bridge in London was not build that way. The beams over the movable parts are statically operative to transmit significant horizontal forces. So it had to be finished, bevor the auxiliary pillars could be removed. In internet there you can see a nice picture of september 28th. 1892 of the building side.
The smaler ships and vessels do not conform with the depicted time.
At the right side of the picture is a present day container crane visible, which does not fit at all.
The gantries at the roofs are not appropriate. If you want to get a close roof on a new building at least in this time, you would not use such a scaffold.
The blue and white color of the steel construction comes from 1977. It is very strange for building sides in the shown time.
