For a while after the Grey Empire stopped sending attacks at the rebellious nations, it was left alone. during this time, it had the opportunity to study and build the flying battleships of the rebels, and the Greyscale was one of these Grey Empire battleships. A fairly standard battleship, it still caused great consternation among the independent nations until it was destroyed in combat in the war of 1896. The Grey Empire never built many flying battleships- the rebellions cropping up around the empire caused large-scale disruption, limiting its production of war machines.
