Just like the title says. It's simple and heavily condensed! A few changes are made notably with their belly.
I'm still figuring out a name for the slimmer body frame, but the one that looks like a beetle has the Plated mutation which covers their body in a hard shell.

Axehead:

(Acks-Head)

Thick skinned creatures with a bladed head capable of chopping down trees and smashing rocks. They are very durable and make excellent laborers for heavy work.

Diet: Plants and Minerals.

Location: Located in arid mountainous areas near deserts, and volcanoes. They sometimes can be found in caves and spacious fields.

Behavior: Axeheads are in nature aggressive and hot-tempered, but with specified pairings some have an even temperament to work alongside other species including humans. It is recommended that children should be supervised around Axeheads as often forget their own strength, this includes Axehead pups.

Besides their renowned strength and temper, they have been known to be fiercely loyal and dedicated to their duties. They are quite popular for being bodyguards, mine-workers, alchemists, meditation partners and most things having to do with heavy work.

Axeheads have a limited vocabulary. Grunting and snorting most of the time. An occasional hoot or yell can be heard from them but only when they are provoked or declaring territory. A calm and generally quiet (with the excuse of rumblings) Axehead is a sign of trust and respect.

Body language is important for Axeheads as their subtle movements can determine whether or not you are in favor to them. A tap of their toe, and flick of an ear often means they are giving a warning to steer away, before they start grumbling loudly and striking dirt for a charge. By then it's already too late, and battle has to be engaged.
