I think Great White sharks are misunderstood creatures.People's opinion of them are based on movies,such as, Jaws.Since that movie,people think twice in swimming in the ocean.When a GW shark attacks,they misinterpret food,such as surfers for sealions or any other natural prey they are use to.They hunt to survive.Unfortunately for the creature,the media gets involved once someone dies, just to sell some papers.Then the naive fisherman's think it's there duty to start killing thousands of sharks because of one rare incident.In the end,it's the whole shark race that's hurting.They must be respected,like all wild animals should.So next time you are swimming near a shark,please...SWIM THE FUCK OUT OF THERE BEFORE IT"S TO LATE!! LOL

Most people die from blood lost, not being eaten; sharks check out new things by biting them. Once they realize we're not seals, they lose interest. Unfortunately, they have huge mouths and therefore take quite a bit out off people when they bite.
Still scare me though (but I like being scared of sharks because it's a fun kind of scare; I know they can't get me on land andΒ I have a better chance of being killed by a bee at the park than by a shark at the beach^^).Β

I absolutely LOVE sharks and they don't deserve all the
$%&$ they get from the media and people in general.
Many times i've heard someone say something along
these lines "sharks are evil and they should all be killed
so we can enjoy our oceans safely" it just angers me so
much .In the words of a character from peter
Benchley's novel White Shark "the bible may say we
have dominion over the animals but that doesn't mean
we have the right to wipe them off the face of the
earth".God created creatures that treasure the ocean a
lot more then we do.*End rant*its a very good drawing
very creepy but thats good.And that shark is HUGE and
the scary part is that while most of the time sharks
don't eat people once in a while a very big very
hungry shark will attack a person and it wont be
reported because the shark will COMPLETELY consume
the person and they will be classified as drowning and/
or lost at sea when they disappear *scary music* well
enjoy the beach this summer everyone! hehehe.

yeah, i get what you mean. the amount of actual deaths from shark bites isn't that huge. they take one bite, realize you're not what they are after and leave you alone, sharks don't actually prey on humans, they just get confused.

TOTALLY if people weren't so stupid and swimming in shark infested waters when the warnings are out, they wouldnt have so many attacks. GWs are some of the more peaceful sharks, contrary to common belief. it is just their huge size that is intimidating.

Woah! This one is immense, i absolutely love sharks yet i'm still terrified of them
Especially when im swimming in the sea, i'm always looking down checking around my feet

i was watching a program where these people jumped from their boat,
into the water, with a great white, and untangled it from the net, it
didn't try to attack them or anything, it was the first great white to be
tagged by hand
