She sees how her encasement hides or beautifies every perceived imperfection and emphasizes all of her best features. She can't help but be fascinated by the image. Meanwhile, the mirror feeds her a mild sensation of euphoria, imperceptible at first, but growing as she becomes more focused on her new image.
