Description
Here is the front of my backpack. In the middle, is a picture of balloons that I drew with fabric markers. I L-O-V-E balloons, especially drawing them. I was inspired to put balloons on my bag actually from a painting that I will post soon that I made at camp. Many people have asked me how i got it to look so water colory. The truth is when I first tried to draw it, I (being the impatient person that I am) did not wait long enough for the light blue background to dry. Then when I drew the balloons, they looked not at all how i wanted them to. I tried pouring waiter on the backpack and going over the balloons but nothing worked. After that, I did not work on the backpack for about a month. Finally, when i showed my mom what had happened, she said she liked the way it looked and I should find some way to work with it. that inspired me to paint balloons over the mess-ups to give it a shadowy look. On the bottom of the balloons are the monstahh's feet which I painted with fabric paint. Please checkout the rest of my backpack pictures for more information and explanations:
