aka "When you have a cute sidekick, you have to expect this..."Typical villainous plot - kidnap the cute sidekick to lure in the real heroine and capture her too. Hypergirl and the Gust Crusader getting that experience this time...
No dialogue, but essentially Hypergirl is left as bait for a trap, the Gust Crusader tracks her down (the one panel of this pic I'm not as happy with as the others - she didn't turn out quite like I wanted), off-panel attackers stun Gusty in unconsciousness, and finally both heroines are prisoners - will they free themselves before any other heroines end up a prisoner too?
Comic-style pics are hard, if for no other reason than several more sketches are needed. This is actually around the fourth or fifth version of the pic, before I was happy with it overall. Plus the first and last panels are actually redrawn and reworked panels from an old minicomic I started months back that never was posted.
Maybe I'll do another one someday, with them or others.

You know what really bothers me?
I'll be browsing deviantart for cool "Crusader" themed artwork (you know, those guys in Medieval armor who defended Europe from the onslaught of Islam...those guys who actually existed...)
Anyway, I'll be going through the pages, and on EVERY SINGLE page, I'll find these little crudely drawn pictures of women named "light crusader" or some other dumb phrase, and they're always tied up in some new erotic position.
It pisses me off because not only are these women not Crusaders, but I have never even seen a picture where they DON'T get caught and tied up in some erotic way.
I mean really...It gets old after a while, having to see the same stupid expression on their "surprised" faces when they get captured and tied up so their HUGE breasts are showing (much to the delight of your teenage audience, I must add).
In conclusion, I wrote this because you have absolutely no idea how much you have disrespected those men who died on the sands of the Middle East 1,000 years ago.
They died to defend Europe, and you use their name as a title for your sex drawings. It's utterly disgraceful, and you should be ashamed.
I also wrote this because I'M TIRED OF HAVING TO SEE THESE PICTURES when I'm browsing deviantart. I mean for Pete's sake, I can't even search for Crusaders without encountering some perverted porn.

Search for anything here and you're bound to find pics that differ. I searched for crusader and crusaders just now and found a variety of different pics, not all related to the subject you are after.
Daviant art houses an absolute hoarde of artwork of varying subjects and uses numerous words to find them. Instead of trolling with pathetic comments like you've done above concentrate your search with other words maybe "medieval" "armoured" or such and just scroll through the pages lie everyone else does.

That's perfectly fine. I'm not at all against the diversity of "Crusader-themed" artwork.
What I'm against is when people name pornography after Crusaders.
You don't take a holy term and place it on a filthy piece of artwork that is SOLELY INTENDED TO INCREASE LUST.

This is an awfully small thing to be whining about, particularly on DeviantArt.
It's very easy for you to just ignore the pictures, because there's a majority of artwork of the kind of Crusaders that suit your palate.
Nobody's telling you to look at them. If you don't like it, that's fine, but don't troll others about it.

I LOVE pics with stories. The first panel is my favourite.
There are a few points I would raise - Girltaker already mentioned Gust's rear, but I also noticed her right arm is at a bad angle and her left (though this could be the fault of her shoulderpad) doesn't seem to connect to her torso right.
Similarly, is Hypergirl crossing her legs in the fourth panel? She was standing straight-legged in the others.
The expressions are lovely, though, especially the last exchange between the two heroines as they wonder what's to happen now. The suspense!

The thing I always like about botched rescues is the expression on the face of the damsel as she see's the would be rescuers get stomped, and you delivered in that respect

As I told ya before, the GC only looks slightly inaccurate, but that's probably my fault. That's okay though. There's always next time.
The picture looks great. I love how you've done this whole thing, and plus, seeing the Gust Crusader and her friends is a treat for everybody and anybody.
