Took this when I was over at her place last weekend. I wasn't quite feeling myself, but I wanted to take a photo of her for her upcoming web site (you folks will be linked to it as soon as it's up. She's one of the finest writers I've ever had the honour of reading). As cheesy as it was, I asked her to read a book in the lounge area of her apartment. We felt like we were doing something rather cliche, but I took a few snaps anyways and this was one of the results. I'm really fond of the lighting of the room as well as the colour. And as for her expression...well...she has a wonderful smile. What else can I say?
