Description Test #5! Wahoo!

I practiced anatomy a bit this week, and actually I felt like I decided on the pose much faster than normal (within 10-15 minutes rather than 20-30), and things were going well for a while. But I feel like my process was a little different this time, as I started with a really sketchy draft and then drew the "real" thing over that. As a result, I skipped around a lot, trying to draw clean lines rather than sketchy (and with a smaller brush than normal for some reason). At maybe the 30 minute mark, everything started looking strange (head too small, arms and body too beefy looking, face just..weird!) So I ended up spending most of the second half tweaking, starting from the head and working my way down as I'm more used to doing. Things started looking better and I was pretty satisfied, but I only had 3 minutes left so no time for colors!

I'm liking the pose on this one a lot better than the previous four, and I feel like she looks more like "somebody" than just "random girl". I think I modeled her a bit after a character I've been developing a bit in my head Happy with the hair too!

As usual, the outfit details got lost as I tried to fix the pose/body. I had a bunch of weird accessories/armor and a romper on her instead, but ditched them along the way. I need to study more fashion!
