Finally, another rant!

Mary Sue= almost any oc.

Ah, Mary Sues, who doesn't know about them and their brother, the Gary Sue. To those of you who do not, here is a quick recap: Mary Sue is a species that looks just like others around you. In the land of Mobius, it could look like Sonic! In the Mushroom Kingdom, Luigi. But these are not natives! They are evil lizard beings of mass destruction!...Okay, maybe they ARE natives, but that is besides the point. The point is, a Mary Sue is perfect. Yeah, perfect. Here, I will put it like this in a mock conversation between Sonic and his new brother, Zero!

Sonic: Hi Zero, wanna have a race?
Zero: Of course, my dear younger brother.
Amy, Tails, Knuckles, Espeo, Charmy, Blaze, etc.: OMG IT'S ZERRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! He is awesome! F*** Sonic!
Amy: Hey, Zero, wanna go out?
Zero: Of course, but first, let me finish this race.
Sonic: On your mark, get set, go!
Zero charges power...then blasts off at the speed of light. However, he contains the power so as not to die from speed he is going. He overlaps Sonic the Hedgehog 97 times in Green Hill Zone.
Sonic: Wow, I am so slow...
Zero: I cannot lose!
Shadow: While you may be fast, lets see you handle this!
Shadow uses all seven chaos emeralds to become Super Shadow!
Zero: Haha! Watch this!
Somehow, without the emeralds power, Zero turns to Mother******* God Of Death And Armegedon And Jesus Zero!
Mother******* God Of Death And Armegedon And Jesus Zero: Chaos Sphere.
Zero nukes Shadow with one chaos sphere, sending the ultimate life-form to the depths of Hell.
Amy: Zero, I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVEEEEEEEE YOU!!!!!!!!!!

What you just witnessed was a little story. I made it instantaneously, but really, what Mary Sue doesn't just pull this shit from their ass? If you could not tell, Zero did three impossible things:
1: OVERLAPPED THE FASTEST THING ALIVE.
2: Became Mother******* God Of Death And Armegedon And Jesus Zero without any emeralds and proceded to demolish the ultimate life form.
3: Got not only CONFIRMED STRAIGHT MALES LIKE TAILS (Who loves Cosmo, so there is some proof) TO ADMIT DIEING LOVE TO HIM, BUT GOT AMY TO INSTANTLY FORGET ABOUT SONIC.

Now, yes, Sues are bad. But that is not the main thing in this rant. The subject is the alarming amount of people who resort to Mary and Gary. Usually, when you need instant awesome in a story, writers crack and resort to these demon offspring. But why? Look at me! I am a horrible fan fic writer, but do I resort to Mary Sues? No! Mary Sues just bring it down! They **** up the story, making it comedy gold to comedy shit. EVERY PERSON OUT THERE HAS A SUE. EVERY OC OWNER HAS ONE, AT LEAST.

But really, stop using them. They just bring the story down. So many fan fics had potential...then I read the part where the amazon god comes in and ruins the story.
