So here we have it. The breeding I've been obsessing over for quite some time... and annoying everyone with my random rambling about it..

The mare had been shipped quite a ways for this breeding and Heather was ecstatic when she arrived... The gypsy mare was quickly unloaded and placed into a little pasture to stretch her legs while Heather showed the other stable owner around the grounds.
A few days later Iron Dune's grooms cleaned the girl up and lead her out to a different pasture off to the side and out of the way.
The mare plodded along quietly, never giving her handlers any trouble.
At the far side, Cairo was already enjoying the fresh grasses. His head shot up though when he smelt the new mare.
"There we go pretty girl," the handler murmured as he released her.
As soon as she was in the pasture, Cairo pranced over and gently sniffed at her flank.
Athelas gave a little nicker and trotted away with Cairo following right behind her.
