Description: Zebras are Africa's wild equines, that has black and white stripes. Their stripes are unique for each individuals, but different for their species. Most zebras lived in from small harems(a herd that's consisted with several females and their foals, all lead by a stallion) to big herds(similar to a harem, but with subordinated males). They can get along quite easy with Thomson gazelles and wildebeests, as they can graze some grass. Migratory herds of zebras have the same problem as wildebeests, when they cross the crocodile-infested rivers. The predators of the zebras are lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, wild dogs, and crocodiles. Even baboons can prey upon zebra foals. Quaggas are the extinct subspecies of plains zebras in South Africa, but humans can bring the quaggas back to life from extinction. The unique stripes of the zebra makes them one of the animals, familiar to people. People thought that zebras used their stripes for camouflage. The herd full of stripes might possibly confused the predators and observers. The stallion of the small harem herd can challenge one another stallion for the dominance of the harem. Zebras are much more popular, thanks to the African culture, My Little Pony series with zebras, Racing Stripes(a character that's a zebra whom he became the very first zebra that can race with horses), Marty the zebra(a zebra from DreamWorks Madagascar, whom he dreams of going back to the wild, which Marty ruined Alex the lion's life), and Khumba(a zebra whose born striped in his front, but stripeless in his hindquarters, as he and his friends search for a waterhole with the mountain, so he can get his stripes back, to prevent the leopard for killing him.). Zebras(especially Plains subspecies) can be semi-domesticated, used for riding, carriages, research for bringing the quagga back to life, and for hybridize with domestic equines(like donkeys and horses) into zebroids.

The quagga was striped through the head, neck and sometimes to the back.
