Lost amidst the world,The wars, the hatred, the pain,
We find ourselves seeking, searching.
For hope,
for a world too far gone.
For wonder,
at the innocence in a child's eyes.
For wishes,
of freedom from destruction.
For happiness,
at the time we've spent together.
For relief,
that we are not alone.
For dreams,
we forgot we'd ever had.
For love,
in the eyes of one another.
For peace,
when all the world seems dark.
