Sometimes you get upand bake a cake or something.

This is two shots, merged in Photoshop. I'd love to say i have the balancing skills to make this work seamlessly for real, but i'd be lying and my camera would be in the sink.
and nobody else could have taken this for me, unfortunately.

I agree with LadyMask. The textures really make this shot; the soap in the sink, the sponge, and your hands all blend beautifully and create a kind of subtle story.
What I find kind of interesting is that it almost looks like you're about to drop the mug into the water, which speaks volumes. This photo would make a really excellent short story.

I was trying to make something intimate. I often think about wanting to create something that appears to the audience exactly how i see it from my eyes. The picture is, at least, and the tones are to portray the mood which is supposed to be kind of lonely.
