Description
This work has a very special place in my heart for a number of reasons. Like many of my other works, it was inspired by a mystical experience. Primarily, this work became a strong symbol for me, because it constantly reminded me that we are not alone.
The lady in this work reflects a force that I encountered in a waking-dream. In the experience, her eye contact touched me in an unforgettably intimate way...it was as if she were looking directly into my 'soul'. Consequently, I experienced a complete torrent of suppressed and unconscious emotions. Sweetly surrendering, I felt deeply moved and receptive. Who was she? Where did she come from? What was her reasoning for visiting me in a lucid dream?....
All these questions felt peaceful however, and over time, I have recognized her as perhaps an aspect of my Holy Guardian Angel. It is my belief that when the rare opportunity of meeting a person, (whether in a dream or in the third dimension) who can look deeply into your soul comes along, it should be acknowledged, honored and responded to...And so I Propose a Toast:
To Our Guardian Angels, may the path between us be clear, and may we speak and share in a language understandable to both of us....Leh-oh-lam Ah-men.
