Well, that's some pointless, arbitrary bullshit. Looks like someone has crap code working on the back end and is setting up some arbitrary gates to (fingers crossed) avoid having to refactor the crap code.Here's a suggestion: Let people display photos at their native resolution. I put a lot of work into stitching those 51 photos.

This has happened to me before when I tried to upload an original file PNG from my sigma dp2. We pay for premium but have a file limit of 200 megapixels? There are some things about this site that make me mad. I bet you were frustrated after stitching 51 photos!
