Thanks!
It isn't bout the lens, bro!
This was captured with a brigde camera (sony dsc-h50) you can't even change the lens on that thing.

Oh my, I wish I could capture water the way you do! I love water features. They're just so amazing! In this photo, I love the way you've frozen the water in time. You've captured the stillness so well! I can feel the energy in this photo. Very beautifully done!

I can't write a critique, but I can tell you that I love this idea and your "sink" series. There's something about the way the metallic background reflects the light that I just love, and all the colorful items you've chosen to photograph along with it make for some very fresh looking shots. I find all the creative angles nice, too. And of course, the way you've captured the water is magnificent. All in all, I think these are some really beautiful shots. Quite refreshing to look at during such a hot summer! Thanks for cooling off my day just that much more ^^

Hope that helps. :0

are u sure these are the settings?
cuz with a shutter speed of 1/50, a large f-stop and such a wide focal length, it is almost impossible for a macro shot like that..

PatrickRuegheimer In reply to zeusdeux [2010-06-30 19:59:51 +0000 UTC]
Well the shutterspeed was 1/500 not 1/50

ah that explains a lot why the large focal length though?

PatrickRuegheimer In reply to zeusdeux [2010-06-30 20:24:01 +0000 UTC]
Because I zoomed to get a nice bokeh.
