I was just in a desert, and I feel reminded of all that sand and heat when I look at this. I like those earrings a lot - they're well-rendered and shiny and generally rather cool.

That's pretty awesome. You were able to put a lot of emotion into the eye and eyebrow. An excellent hint of concern. I could really feel her emotions for a second. I also like the fact that they are clothed, scarf and all. Bedouin types and others generally wear more cloths than most think.

Unfortunately for me, those sort of deals tick me off. They all are at something like 90% chance for skin cancer, some of them. And don't get me started on 'Breast plates' you know the kind.

Yeah. When I went over with my sister for spring break (My mum's half of the family live there), there was this mother and two kids who had come from the Caribbean or some such tropic. 36 degrees, cold and rainy outside the airport. I didn't half feel sorry for the kids. Ridiculously tanned.
I think it comes from the general lack of sun in England (which I enjoy).
