Ahh, the bear... That bear was acquired under some very specific and special circumstances... Kind of a once in a lifetime deal, you know. Well, suffice it to say that I'm extremely disappointed to have lost it. Yes, I lost it. Don't ask me how a person can misplace a large, raging, bright purple bear... it's a pretty painful story. Sorry.

it all started with that bear. i wanted to see how i could make him oddly colored and was just messin around with photoshop. before i knew it, this piece came out of it!

the idea behind this is really interesting, it's captivating. Keeps your eyes moving.
That said.
The colouring on the bear.
While interesting, the green throws it off. It is automatically apparent that it was a photoshoped thing, not just because it's purple. You should try to make it more real looking with the colours, maybe try some new techniques on photoshop?

yeah, well a purple and green bear IS pretty obviously photoshopped... how would you suggest making it look more real? normally i DO stick to real colors, but i was just feeling random on this and it turned into a concept. i just started with an odd colored bear and it flowed out from there.
i like hearing your thoughts on these things. i need more stuff like this. and thanks for the fav too!

I love the colours of this and how several very different things work togeather to make a great wallpaper, I like the fact that you've left an area in the top left for icons. ^^

you mean ur background on ur computer? totally! all my wallpapers are free to use. if its too big (if its not a 17" Powerbook like mine, it probably is) then i can do a resize easily for ya. and thanks for the wonderful comment and fav!

What exactly about this it is that draws me to it I cant quite put my finger on.. All I know is that nothing stands out as being any more well done than the rest, because it's all just awesome. I would tottally use this as a background.

I love the colours on this, not what you'd pick but they work so well, and the contrast with the green was done very well, as were the effects used.

yeah, it all started with that bear. i wanted to be a lil crazy and change up the colors. so that ended up dictating the palette for the rest of the piece.
