Interesting shot, it has a very curious shape.

If you watch on the lower right corner of the texture... does that look like a dog's head???

Wow - I really couldn't have guessed what this was without reading the description... I've got a great fascination with beach sand patterns myself, but I've never seen one like this!

Yeah, I've never seen it anywhere else beside this one specific spot. Something unique about that area. There's also great tidepools near there; I'm goin back on Saturday cause there's gonna be a pretty good low tide. Excited!

well, maybe. see, i dont have access to a darkroom, so i would feel less inclined to take pictures i dont get to develop and print myself. if i had a digital camera, that might be a different story...

I'm a digital person all the way, I've never had access to a darkroom. That should all change next year though... *rubs hands*

I'm gonna be doing an art foundation course for a year before uni, which means the chance to mess with everything from glass making, to ceramics, to life drawing, and of course: photography. Whoo!

nothing like a good art class to push you to go farther and produce more than you ever would have otherwise.

patternsinthestatic In reply to Waterish [2006-04-25 22:27:45 +0000 UTC]

this one was developed in a darkroom at my old college. the others were developed in my dad's friend's private darkroom he built at his house up in the mountains.
