Description "If only you could bottle the stuff"

One in a series of nine framed elements that, when grouped together, make up An Introduction To Collective Memory. They are hanging on her wall above her bed in her newly redecorated room.

Standard process: mixed media assemblage using misc. cardboards, misc. clippings from magazines and books, copper sheet, papers, sketchings, glue, frames bought at a thrift store, acrylic paints, and of course a lotta love.

Lovely reds and greens, are they watercolour or watered down acrylic or something?

nope. it's really just an image i found in a magazine of a couple lying down in the grass facing up. if you look closely, or maybe stand back i dunno (i kinda covered it up in too much paint) you can see their faces looking up.

ah cool! before it looked like one of the cool patterns you get when you drip really watered down watercolour onto paper.

yeah reddish toward the bottom. it's really tough working this small, having images i want you too see and interpret, but also wanting to paint over the top. i found out don't like going this small, or at least with this amount of detail.

thank you! did you see the two faces also? they're kind of hard to see, i'm wondering if people are picking that out. there's a boy and girl lying down looking up.
