Description
Scanned in some early photography of mine. (Circa 2003)Shot with on black & white film with a Nikon SLR. Developed in darkroom, 8" by 10" print. No photoshop whatsoever. The discoloration is from aging and probably incorrect developing techniques.

the sepia-ish result from aging kind of gave the photo some style.

probably not. i didn't really know what i was doing, it was my first time developing prints. but hey, it worked out nicely i think.

yeah agreed i think its always great to have happy mistakes.. u learn from ur mistakes mostly.. and when it looks good u can always pass it off as intentional

the tone is one of my favorite parts about this too. and it's only that tone because of aging, which is even cooler to me.

i couldn't think of a title. hush is just sort of the feeling i got from the image. it kind of describes the snapshot, still life quality and also kind of mimics the sound of a rushing river in the distance. that's why i went with "Hush..."

i like the way some of the trees on the left stand out and others dont

part of that is due to the discoloration that turned 3/4 of the print, the right side, sepia toned.
