Description
Scanned in some early photography of mine. (Circa 2003)Shot with on black & white film with a Nikon SLR. Developed in darkroom, 8" by 10" print. The only photoshop I did was to touch up some imperfections in the scan.

weird focus, also known as soft focus... hehe. it's just that i had a really tight focal length, meaning I set it so that the lens had a really small area to capture images crisply, leaving everything else in varying degrees of fuzziness depending on how far away it was from my focus area... it sounds complex, it's really not. but anyway, I like it a lot, soft focus.

these are the tops of some odd plant that i found in the mountains. i think thes curly stocks hold little seeds.
