This is really stand out work. It's not only a cool collage-painting work but, it's also shapely. I like the idea a lot and I am glad to see something like that, it's original. you said you had trouble taking a good picture of it and that's a shame cause we always want to share the best possible version. Never fear though cause it looks kick-ass as it is!

Why thank you! It's definitely a deviation from the usual stuff I had been doing at the time. That's kinda what made it fun for me.

may i ask what the white wash or what ever it may be you have used over the top of the images?

well, i'm realizing this image looks really washed out compared to the original. i'm gonna fix that in photoshop and upload a more accurately-colored version. if you saw the original, you'd see that it's just different colors of paint dry-brushed on top. well, first i brush thin glue on top, which, when dried, gives a nice texture. then, i'll brush thin coats of color over and over on top until i have the effect i want.

yeah i have been playing around a little with that kind of style (no rephrase: trying to play around) but am so very far off even comparing with your pieces... really amazing work mate

thanks! yeah, once i got in the groove with the stitching it went alright. it just hurt my fingers with that thick cardboard.
