hawooo!! ^^It's time to post something new here. Well, only a few things happened since I posted last time, and even fewer to be a part of deviantart.
For a long time I used a lot of programs to get my desktop I wanted to have; sidebars, taskbar-programs and -folders, skinning software and so on.
Unfortunately a lot of these programs don't want to work together, they weren't programmed well, left as beta by the programmer... So I searched for an alternative and found Litestep.
Litestep is a software which takes over the desktop out of the explorer and gives you much more possibilities to configure it like you want. There are many many modules out there, parts of Litestep to undertake a special function like taskbar, traybar, startbutton... and there are a lot of ready Litestep Skins
I took a Skin called pmwindows7 created by PM-FX and changed the graphics with them came together with VistaMizer 3.2 created by M. Hoefs.
The WinAMP-graphics came from a skin called Ultimat Vista Classic Skin by Depp Richtiger.
It's all full functional, the program-folders on the topbar, the startmenu and the icons on bottom-right to get quickly to Systemcomponents...

Yeah, Litestep is not well known. It became really big when time was to late, means XP came out with its Luna skinable Theme-Manager, so that you do not need such things.
I Uses it for my older Computers (with Windows 98/2000 for older Games and NT 4.0 for my Data Computer) which weren't skinable by Microsoft.
With Litestep much more things can be done. Systemtools like CPU- and Ram-Meter, Uploadtime, Calender on Screenbackground and so on... a really big playing-yard

Well, I forgot, the background is a screenshot from the russian online-roleplay Allod Online, the character is an Arisen calles Elyssea, a race long time dead and brought back to life by dark magics...
It seems to be kind if cyberpunk with magic and machines, ever the Aricen seems to be some kind of Cyborgs, becourse parts of their body are made of steel, like their hands, feet, arm and legs... and the female have mechanical tails
