I forgot that I had many drawings that I did from art class in my sophomore year that I needed to upload. One of them is the self portrait. Here it is! My first attempt at drawing a human. The art teacher gave us tricks and techniques. Of course though, this does not look like me at all! I know that one eye is bigger than the other, but there was a due date on this and I figured I am going to drive myself crazy to keep trying to get it right. Oh and make it more messy too from erasing and then trying again. Anyway, I hope you like it. Yes, I do need a lot of practice.

Most of the good teachers at my art college left the same time I did. I taught there for a couple of years after I'd been a student, but they closed my department for a year and when they reopened it it wasn't worth going back to. Too many changes.
I used to like working with the disabled students and the kids who'd left school early with behavioural problems and learning difficulties, because they appreciated the help more than the "regular" kids, and they tried harder and achieved more too.

I used to help out the disabled people with artwork. They had a good time. I haven't been there for a year since I am so busy with things. They want me to come back, so I feel good about how I was helpful to them.

I wasn't paid at this job, I was just a volunteer. I am currently looking for a job where I get paid. It would be a good learning experience for me, motivate me, etc.
