YAY! Finally finished colouring this~~ Background is boring cos I couldn't think up anything for it other than "PURPLE
"A picture of Roark/Hyouta and Riley/Gen from the PokΓ©mon D/P games along with some of their signature PokΓ©mon (*Well Riley GIVES you a Riolu egg so that was more than enough reason to draw a Riolu :3*) Both these guys are among some of my favourite characters in the D/P games, along with Volkner and Flint who I really need to draw too |o

Ooh, yeah, Roark, Riley, and Volkner are my favs too. Riolu is the cutest Pokemon I've ever seen. I'm never letting it evolve. Ever.
...Though it is annoying to have to stop it every time it levels up, lol.
In the Pokemon movies, they never seem to carry over, you know? There's no distinct timeline, and they never mention them again, so they MIGHT add Riley in... or at least they'd better, 'cus he's hot.
...Or maybe Ash's memory got erased AGAIN. Perhaps they do that after every movie. Just erase everybody's memories. It works.

You could try and give your Riolu an Everstone which stops evolution, you can find them pretty easilly in the underground ^^ I have to have my Buizel, Jackie, hold one as I don't want him evolving to Floatzel XD;
And yeah, they do have a tendancy to not really mention the movies in the show itself, don't they? XD Ah well, guess we'll see if they include Riley in the show when we get near to the 6th gym, which is still a long while away XD;

Oh, thanks! I really needed to find one of those things. Underground I go! (I didn't go underground for a while 'cause I was freaked about the whole communications thing, but I guess unless I'm within 20-50 feet of someone also playing Pokemon, nothing's gonna happen.)
And they had better include Riley. I totally want one of them to get a Riolu. Maybe Brock?...

Thanks~ Yeah, D/P has so many awesome characters, in the other games I didn't pay much attention to any other characters except a few gym leaders I liked, even the previous game E4 I paid little attention too, but for some odd reason I really really love the Sinnoh E4, well other than the reason that Flint is purely made of awesome.

Yeah, I agree! I really love the Sinnoh E4 as well as all the gym leaders. And they seem to be more well-developed in the anime, too. I mean, so far they've dedicated multiple episodes to each gym leader, and it seems like we may get to see the entire elite 4 this time, and also there's the other in-game characters like Cheryl. I think it's really awesome!

Yes~ I really really hope they keep up with giving each gym leader a good amount of episodes, so far Roark had 4 and Gardenia had 3 which are really good amounts, especially since some of the previous leaders got jipped with just one episode X__X; And they just HAVE to show the whole E4 now, especially Flint >> <<; I'm hoping he'll appear where he did in the game. Flint and Volkner in the same episode/s? Total WIN!
I'm also really hoping they include Riley in the show, it really doesn't matter if he looks like Aaron, Ash won't make the connection knowing him XD;
So much to look forward to and hope for in the D/P anime, there really is XD

Yep, exactly! And they spaced them out nicely too. ^^ I agree, they really should keep that whole plotline with Volkner, including Flint's appearance. That'll be a really aweome series of epsiodes, even though it won't be for a long time unfortunately. XD;
As for Riley, I've always had my doubts that he'd appear just because I figured he was directly based off of Aaron... but then again, you never know, the writers have been surprising us quite a bit this season. We'll just have to wait and see. ^^
