Description
With a bit more unpredictability, as the spikes like you, what i say is use the ability to move from one side of the map to the other. If it's too big press F11. My scripting is becoming more and more complex, so i hope you like this one.Related content

The moving background looks nice. The warning sound effect for low on life got annoying rather quickly, but the movements for the main spikes still aren't randomised (use timers?). This doesn't make this a game for hardcore gamers, but in fact more a game for people who are willing to invest time in memorising every spike animation, which isn't very hardcore at all... Though I do appreciate that it appears to loop every 17, which makes it somewhat easier to learn.
The main gripe with the lack of coded algorithm the game is that there isn't any technique that you have to learn to apply in order to win besides memory...
The effect when you get hit by the main spikes still plays three times (and spawns more than once per hit! Resolve this using a variable that sets true when touching and false when not...), which looks really rather messy :L
The four minor side spikes work quite well though, well done on those.

This game is alright but could be a lot better with some simple design adjustments. Steer clear of gradients, they look cheep and garish. If you'd gone for block colour and no outlines, things would have looked a lot better. Also try to work on typography. A different font other than the default would be good. Something simple. The cases were inconsistent too, some words in full caps, some not.

Yes, but complaining about things is a good way to help things get better. Was there any reason for the graphic for getting hit plays three times? And I'm sure you could have found a more appropriate and less grating sound effect for warning? At least I'm telling you how you can change things... Better than just saying "I don't like it" and moving on. I may not be the best, but I know quite a bit about game design.

Three graphics: It eats at you heath three times before timing out. If you get hit, that takes no heath, the spinning graphic takes one frame of heath every play.
Heath warning: Well it makes you hate having low life, so you try harder.

1) Well okay, that wasn't very well explained, it just ends up looking like a bug.
2) But you can survive for ages while on low life, it's just annoying, few games have a "low life" noise this unfitting, and even if they do, it only plays it once.

fine, for spike dodger three it will only play once. Boy you better learn some scripting and make a great game so i can chew the hell out of that.

Much better than the first one, though also much harder. I think the moving background in the first one was okay because there was only 1 or 2 things coming at you and that amount of motion was okay. But in this one there is SO MUCH going on. The moving background sort of stops being entertaining and just makes me feel ill.
I think you did pretty well on everything else. I like the animation of the blood, for whatever reason, and the music seems good, though I wonder if maybe you could create a few more tracks and have it cycle through them. Doesn't really matter. Works either way.
Also, much better than anything I could ever conceivably make. Brilliant for being all self-taught.

The music is each shape making it's own sound. That's were it come from. The background is meant to make it harder to focus on one point of movement. This game was made for the HARD CORE gamers that seem to be prowling DA, Sheep Tosser the Game is for less then HARD CORE gamers, it's very hard to lose it, so no unhappy faces or shaking hands. Again thanks a lot for the comments they really help.

Well that's a good mark for success of a game producer.
