Description This is a selection of photos I took on Saturday at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. My Picasa programme chopped them into squares, which was fine with me, but I apologise for that Egyptian goose's beak getting excluded. You can however see that photo better and bigger here: [link] on my Flickr account. As well as others. I haven't finished uploading them either.

Anyway someone encouraged me to upload some Spring scene pics, sooooo here ya go I live about 15 minutes drive from there. Maybe 10 when there's very little traffic

lovely photos, I love all the flower ones especially top row, 3rd along! Egyptian geese are funny looking, there are a few that have established themselves in the wild over here, I happened to see one once on a day out and I was like what on earth is that! LOL.

Awww thanks, Michelle! It is an Egyptian Goose. That is the name, but it is indeed a duck! *quack*

I'm sorry you're so nervous about your drawing that you're doing, I suppose you could take a break from it or... well I can only say sometimes the best things take courage and they WILL make you feel afraid to finish. But try to follow your feelings anyway...

The camera is a Pentax Optio 30. I have had it a few years though, so I am not sure if it is still sold. It's not close to the best kind of cameras. It doesn't have much zoom, for instance. It can take nice photos though. Not the best, but pretty nice
