I watched Jarasstic park and this is what happened. I used to draw dinosaurs all the time and... I just don't as much
That pose is so over used in biped dinos, but I wanted a simple-like pose so I can practice anatomy and play with my new Wacom
I really don't know if I got all the anatomy right on this. I looked all over the net and couldn't find a good Utah Raptor skeleton anywhere. So I used a lot of Deinonychus references.
The Wacom really does make things go faster. I think I'm finally getting the hang of the thing. I started with the one on the top. When I got to the striped one I was used to where to put the shading.
Which one do you like the best (or any suggestions?
), 'cause I'm thinking of making a how to tutorial with colored pencils with this pic (now that I have my own scanner ). I just need to know which color scheme to use.

This raptor base is absolutely beautiful. ^..^ All the variations are great, although my personal favourite is the red stripy one.

great job!!! this will help me a lot, cuz I wanna do a "Dinosaur King" character and I was going to do a raptor but its to small to fight against big dinos, so Ill use a Utah raptor! and this si perfect, is it scientifically confirmed that he had those little spikey things in their head?

Oooo! I like the striped Utah Raptor the best! I used to draw dinos, but then I just stopped. I am probobly going to start drawing them again!! So, a tutorial would be awesome!!

ah well, this looks so cool, like aside from you just experimenting, you're giving the audience a chance to choose which one they like better n_n
I like the last two, coz the middle one actually shows the shading you put in with more define, and the last ones colours are just..waii (D~
