Description
Webster Park on Lake Ontario, last Sunday evening. This one is for Allie Hartley ( photos => CiRcUsSpiDeR Β drawings => AllieHartley ) whose photographs of Webster Park reminded me of how much I missed the place and sent me back awandering.
Thanks, Allie.
Taken with my Pentax 105G on timer, the camera sitting on a relatively flat rock right at the water's edge.
I do love this photograph. Given the way it was taken, I had no idea of how well it would work. I saw the negative and said, "Thank you, God. This one was a gift."

This one was a gift. I set the camera on a tilted rock by my feet, swagged the aim, and pressed the shutter. My jaw dropped when I saw the negative.

This is a "Jackpot!" shot; where everything aligns perfectly, and the timing is spot on.

Love this shot! If you rotate it onto its side it reminds me of a tree growing with roots which just seems fitting.

Beautiful photo. Have you tried to turn it 90-degree clockwise?

I just rotated my Chromebook to have a look. Β Nifty. Β I would post it that way as a photo, but it makes a fascinating abstract.
