I spotted this young female turtle hiding under some leaves in my side-yard. So, of course I had to run back in the house to grab my camera...couldn't pass it up. Note: Females have yellow eyes/Males have red eyes.Related content

Thank you. I had to get down on the ground so I could get on the same level as this little creature...being I didn't want a shot of its domed back (if I stayed standing up) lol
