This was an awesome collab that I've been looking forward to for a while!! I finished Kill La Kill last month, and OMG it was pretty damn good. (it has been a LONG time since I was eagerly waiting each week for a new episode for an anime!) I asked Jeff Martinez if he would possibly like to color one of my sketches, and this is the fantastic result!! I can't get over how amazing this looks!!
His colors went above and beyond what I could anticipate, and I hope any KLK fans out there dig this as much as I do!

SO much to love about this! The colors are fantastic, but so is the base picture. Her face is perfect, her hair is great, her body is fantastic (I am a warm blooded man after all), and her hands! God I love those hands! I know that is kind of a weird thing to point out but they are well drawn. Her armor (its name starts with a J, I just know it) looks astounding and I love that it is looking back along with her! Such a nice touch! Just so much good in one pic I'm not sure what more to say about it other than making non-discernible noises of approval. Respectable noises mind you. No reason not to be a gentleman about it...woo.

ziginz: I totally agree with what you said about the piece! I'm glad that you enjoyed it as much I enjoyed working on it. Pechan, has such mastery of her sketch poses its always full of energy in my opinion. She gave me the sketch and I went to town on it with my own flavor! Can't stress enough that I had so much fun drawing this piece, I want to do more with her. Hopefully, you'll see more collabs with me & in the future! Stay tuned!

I absolutely put my heart and soul into this piece like any other I would've done. Pechan, your sketch alone was gorgeous & energetic... I'm soo happy that you love this piece. I definitely wanted to capture in my own way the energy you gave the initial sketch, and give it my own spin. I hope we can work together on more pieces and maybe some of mine. Here's to more art memories to come! Woot!

Of course! I really appreciate you didn't color over my lines and instead just made them stronger and heavier. Adding more weight and motion to get pose!

Haha I love all the characters, specially the Elite Four. If I had to pick a favorite, it'd be Gamagoori followed very closely by Satsuki.

Gamagoori! I am totally partial to Ryuuko, but he definitely is my second choice. Probably the most human character in the show, as well as the most entertaining along with Senketsu and the Makanshoku family!
