Description
From an original project, the concept of the drawing is that this character has just snuck into the corridor of ruins through the canopy window, coming face to face with a statue. I love drawing depth and multiple layers with cross-hatching and this was so much fun, although it is rather messy since I hurried it from excitement.Related content

still but in the same time the man or the statue could do the first step. maybe a new door will open? or he will be trapped? or the statue offers him a riddle.
great job even if its made in a hurry(:

Trap doorβ¦That's a great idea, yes. I'm no good at riddles but that is also a good point. This is part of an original story I made a while ago, and there's a lot of work to be done before it can be published in any way, but your ideas could make the plot interesting, thank you!

Beautiful work! The statue reminds me of Angkor Wat somewhat...

I probably did draw it with one of the Khmer Angkor ruins in mind, they are stunning. Oh well, look at the tree roots dripping down on the top there, that was definitely with some influence. I should do it some justice next time by trying harder with the concentration thing With backgrounds my hands start to get cold whether it's indoors or out. Something I'd better work on! Thanks for the comment ^^
