Description
You're searching for Miyuki's shirt, which has gone missing again.Recently pointed out that Miyuki's occasional spelling of things with her boobs:
would fit in with a search engine's logo, so I thought I'd give this a go. May put her on some other backgrounds - there's no circumstance where a ninja pointing out how topless she is doesn't work.
Ink drawing colored in photoshop.
If we don't make it back, clear my search history,

Uh-huh, Miyuki-chan. So why is it when you pull up google the first suggestion it gives is "Sexy ninja hunks in swimtrunks?"
Very good work on this one. That reminds me a bit of the Booble logo.

If I start with "sexy ninja" Google's auto complete gives me "sexy ninja turtle costume". And I'm really not sure how I should feel about that.
"Topless ninja girls" doesn't autocomplete to anything. The image results are mostly not ninja related, although I'm happy to see the thumbnail for this picture now appears on the fifth row down.

Ever hear of Booble? It's a search engine for adult sites. Their logo is very similar to this.
Very good work, BTW.

Thanks!
I couldn't say for sure that I had, but somehow that sounds familiar. And quite useful, now that Google Safe Search can't be fully disabled anymore (and I just can't see myself using Bing).

I think this should become the next Google logo. Although I doubt it would work, not to mention those who oppose nudity of any kind.

There is...logic in what he says.

I have given it some further thought, and this is pretty well true. I mean it's a little inappropriate during the moment of silence for a tragedy, but at weddings, baseball games, buses, barbecues, the gym, the office, Mardi Gras, you name it.
Perhaps if she's in a room with other ninja girls who are also all topless...

It says "topless ninja girls with nice boobs". But it didn't come out the right side properly so I had to move it around in photoshop.
Incidentally, if you type that into Google Images you really don't get very many ninja related pictures, it's a bit disappointing.

That is sad. Probably because they changed the search filtering to reduce the amount of porn that gets in. It's really wrecked google's search functionality.

Oddly, (or not, I guess) lots of topless and nude women show up in the results, just hardly any are ninja themed.
The way Google works now partial safe search is always on, but you can get NSFW material by being specific with your keywords. They claim this is to stop porn from showing up where it isn't wanted, but turning safe search on did a fine job with that before - what it didn't do is provide Google with the detailed look at people's searches that it gets from making you type everything out. Maybe I'm being too cynical, but you start to notice when they've been watching - after watching a bunch of Shaw Brothers movies on YouTube I started getting all Cantonese ads for a while.

"Cute" isn't the word I'd use. You love your characters don't you?

I'd say cute's the word I want, I guess. Deviousface isn't quite a sexy face so much as a mischievous face.
I think from a creator's point of view you come to love anything you've created. I have all kinds of old drawings lying around that I would not consider up to standard, and nowhere near competent to post up here on the internet, but I've never thrown them away. For the characters I'm writing (not just the girls, the girls are just more fun to draw) I try to give them enough depth so they'll be relatable, which, hopefully, means people will care about them. 'Cause a story where you don't care about the characters will lose your attention in a hurry.

I agree strongly! But, for me there were some stories that were just... bad to say the least. I've gotten a lot better though. So if I may ask when you first started out with the girls what did you want to accomplish with them? I mean were they part of a story or was "Oracle Sword" something that just happened?

Stories, I think, are a tougher thing to look back at. Somehow old drawings make me think "I've really gotten better at this" while old writing makes me think "Good Lord, what was I thinking?"
So it's rather a reach back - Pull up a chair. When I went to college we got high speed internet in the dorms, and it was the first real chance I had to check out the web in all its glory. We were still in web 1.0, and the first wave of webcomics, and of course as a guy who liked comics I said to myself, hey, I could do that. It's free, and you can jump right in and learn by doing, not like print comics where they insist on trained artists and selling enough to make money.
So what do you write about? Well you'll write what you know or run out of content in a hurry, so like pretty much 85% of webcomics I figured I'd write about my friends and our broader circle of acquaintances, because we certainly got ourselves into some wacky, entertaining hijinx. And that was my first mistake, and you realize why when you read 85% of all webcomics - they're all about a group of college kids who do regular everyday stuff and treat it like it's awesome and novel, and make references to things and people you don't know. And at this point I was saved from my first mistake because I started to type up some ideas and realized they were going nowhere.
So I figured screw it, I'll just write a martial arts spy thriller, because that's really what I wanted to write anyway, (but still set in a college because write what you know). Since the people I knew had no place in a martial arts spy thriller - ordinary people just don't - I created some entirely fictional people - that's where Miyuki first came up. The idea was there would be a ninja, a samurai, a spy, etc. all living in the dorms together and all pretending like they were normal people until it was time for action. Lyta was actually a character from a military sci-fi story I wrote around the time - it was basically just a bad Tom Clancy novel (a Larry Bond novel?), but in space. Anyhow, I made her into Miyuki's roommate at some point.
Now stringing a big number of characters into a coherent story and turning that into sequential art is not really easy, and after a lot of false starts I really wasn't any closer, so I figured I'd just do some small comics that were just for humor and go for a big epic story later. Early on I got rid of the college setting because there was no point to it - no one ever went to class or did anything remotely school related, and I had graduated, besides. For one of these comics - this one here: [link] I needed a goth girl so that's the start of Clarissa. Literally, right there. Later I needed another ninja so I came up with one on the fly, and that was Akiko - in this comic, right here [link]
So anyway, closing in on the present I decided I'd try a longer dramatic work again, but not a comic because with work and everything else I just couldn't commit the time that would take. I've had a lot of ideas for cool scenes over the years, but I'd have to create a new plot to string them together. In this case it's pretty basic, it's an Indiana Jones style treasure hunt. I have some other plot driven story ideas, but none of them could be the first one, if that makes any sense. A number of the characters - Miranda, Danny, Jeff, Minh, and maybe some others to come - are survivors from that original martial arts spy story, although they've all changed a great deal.
I guess you could say it's something that just happened, but it only happened at the end of a long line of other somethings.
