I haven't been able to make any personal stuff for a long time since I've been working on comics but yesterday I decided to take a few hours to draw my own stuff and this came out. I really wanted to draw a view of a cluttered, ramshackle space fighter cockpit that looks like it has seen years of hard service and been worn down and lived in. The aesthethic I wanted is close to an old armoured vehicle, like an old Chieftain tank or something, all the walls covered in boxes with levers, knobs and analog dials for information all covered in thick wiring. It's the space fighter if one was made in the fifties or sixties. The pic in its current form does look too cluttered for a B&W image, but coloring this should make it much neater to look at.
